Hey there, my name’s Alain! I'm a nonbinary artist and illustrator from St. Louis with a passion for comics, fiber arts, and community

My work, which tends to feature natural, fantastical, and otherworldly elements, seeks to explore the feelings and identities of its subjects. I love bold lines and bright colors. As someone who is neurodivergent, queer, and trans, I seek to create stories that not only reflect my experiences, but also envision a world where everyone can thrive as themselves. In doing so, my work often touches on mental health, rest, and self understanding. I love to contain my paintings and comics in zines and prints; their ability to be easily accessed, shared, and read matches the personal tone of my work.
