My experience with graphic design and text based work is integrated with my approach to illustration. I like to treat text as large compositional figures that bend and flow with an image. I use design to fill communication needs, so l've had a very hands on education of graphic design, with community as a large part of it.

I've had the experience of helping run and create content for the Webster University Art Department social media as well as the St. Louis Independent Comics Expo (SLICE). I also create illustrations  for Betty's Books.
